wow... and again emily's done it... seriously you have to teach me some skills of yours because you are better at digital art than anyone i know. my father saw the wallpaper you made because it's my background right now and he was shocked that you did it. he said it was so professional and that everything was amazing. he didn't believe me when i told him you were just a freshman... lol the only critique that i could say was that the fingers look a little flat in comparison to the rest of the piece, but other than that, this is really great. i love the texture of the jeans and the shoes look plain, but very suiting of the character. don't change them!!!! they look good. oh, and maybe some higlights on the black shirt considering that light has to hit it somewhere, no? like you did on the shoes - just a few highlights with dodge on low opacity. nice work though and can't wait for the background. did you know that NA got 5 wacom tablets?!?!?! i was so shocked when they told us that in ib art! i was psyched to try it out because i've never drawn on one of those. they seem awesome though! ttyl hun

The color work on this is absolutely incredible. The shading on the jeans is gorgeous...you really are quite good at that. I love this character, and this picture is very, very well done. Outstanding job.

thanks so much!! it's okay that you thought she was a guy all my friends at school did (well with a few exceptions) but most of my friends are guys and they uhh well they thought of a bunch of other perverted and not helpful thoughts heh... boys will be boys i guess...

the background i was thinkin was havin her sitting on like stairs since that's the only thing that'd really work... but i think that might be a little too boring.. like a gray building.. boring i dunno could you give suggestions or your opinion?
